Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies and plans to optimize the supply chain operations.
- Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, including arranging shipments, negotiating rates with carriers, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs requirements and import/export laws.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to logistics activities.
- Manage and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and import/export procedures.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
