Responsibilities:

  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks to ensure a smooth and even painting surface.
  • Painting Application: Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Color Mixing and Matching: Mix and match paint colors as required, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the painting project.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of painting materials.
  • Surface Protection: Protect surrounding areas, furniture, and fixtures from paint splatters and ensure proper covering and masking.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform minor repairs, such as patching holes or cracks, before painting to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Clean-up and Maintenance: Clean painting tools and equipment after use, maintain cleanliness of work areas, and properly store painting materials.

Requirements:

  • Painting Experience: Previous experience as a painter or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Painting Skills: Proficiency in various painting techniques, including brushwork, rolling, and spray application.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in achieving smooth and even paint finishes with a keen eye for detail.
  • Color Vision: Ability to distinguish and match colors accurately for consistent painting results.
