Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival, provide a warm welcome, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, room assignments, and escorting them to their accommodations.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating and fulfilling their needs during their stay.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the hotel management system.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are clean and well-maintained.
- Promote hotel amenities, packages, and special offers to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, including the display of promotional materials.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Guest Service Representative or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle guest complaints effectively.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and computer systems.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and cultural highlights in Dubai.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- UAE residency and a valid work permit are necessary.
