Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival, provide a warm welcome, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, room assignments, and escorting them to their accommodations.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating and fulfilling their needs during their stay.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the hotel management system.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Promote hotel amenities, packages, and special offers to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, including the display of promotional materials.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and follow cash handling procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Guest Service Representative or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle guest complaints effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and computer systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and cultural highlights in Dubai.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • UAE residency and a valid work permit are necessary.
