Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a taxi and transport passengers to their destinations in a timely and courteous manner.
- Greet passengers, assist with loading and unloading luggage, and ensure their comfort throughout the journey.
- Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and safe driving practices at all times.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained taxi, both inside and out, ensuring a pleasant environment for passengers.
- Collect and accurately record fares, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions in a professional manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide information about routes and fares, and offer suggestions for local attractions.
- Keep abreast of traffic updates, road closures, and alternative routes to ensure efficient navigation.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate authorities and company management.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption for reporting purposes.
- Uphold a professional and friendly demeanor when dealing with passengers, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license issued by the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a taxi or transportation service.
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai’s roads, landmarks, and popular destinations.
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and courteous approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina and the ability to sit for extended periods and handle luggage when necessary.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile apps for efficient route planning.
- Good knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
