We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reservations Agent at our prestigious hotel in Dubai. As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their room reservations and ensuring their overall satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries from guests regarding room reservations.
  • Provide accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel services.
  • Assist guests in making reservations, modifications, and cancellations based on their preferences and needs.
  • Ensure all guest information is accurately entered into the reservation system.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and provide appropriate solutions or alternatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Up-sell hotel amenities, packages, and promotions to maximize revenue.
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role as a Reservations Agent or in a customer service position is preferred.
  • Exceptional proficiency in English, both written and oral communication.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in reservation software.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local attractions is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
