Qualification Required:
Secondary school graduation degree or equivalent certificate
Proficient in spoken English
Experience:
Candidates with a professional background in a similar role, ranging from 7 months up to nearly 1 year, will be considered. However, applicants who possess additional experience will be given preference.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- As a Guest Services Agent, your responsibilities will include.
- Offer details about the amenities available at the hotel along with additional services provided.
- Maintain records of vacancies, room reservations, and billing details
- Process group arrivals and departures
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
- Provide general information about local attractions and points of interest
- Handle cash transactions and complete related forms and reports
- Follow emergency and safety procedures
- Carry out administrative tasks like organizing documents, making copies, and sending faxes.
- Answer telephone calls and messages from customers
- Assist clients with special needs and handle wake-up calls
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations
- Investigate and resolve complaints and claims
- Process charges and receive payments from guests
- Willingness to work anywhere in Canada
