Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Training and Education: Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees, promoting awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Incident Reporting: Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure adequate safety equipment and signage.
- Safety Audits: Conduct periodic safety audits and inspections to identify non-compliance and implement corrective measures.
- Safety Culture: Promote a culture of safety awareness among employees, encouraging proactive participation in maintaining a safe environment.
Requirements:
- Education and Certification: A degree or certification in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Familiarity with local and international safety regulations and best practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with employees and management.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess risks, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in conducting inspections, documenting findings, and preparing accurate reports.
