Responsibilities:

- Cash Handling: Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Point of Sale (POS) Operation: Operate the cash register or POS system to scan items, calculate totals, apply discounts, and generate receipts.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the merchandise available, including pricing, promotions, and any relevant details to assist customers effectively.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels at the checkout counter, alerting supervisors or replenishing items as needed to avoid any disruption in service.
- Refunds and Exchanges: Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
